Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

I am 25 weeks pregnant. From past one week am suffering from fever chills cold and cough. First two days I had fever, chills and body pain. Followed by that I got cough and slowly cough has increased.when I try to sleep it's creating me heavy cough and couldn't sleep. When i sit I am not coughing more. Now I have no fever but only cough and body weakness sometimes. Also I have chest cold and I can hear sound from my throat and chest. I am really worried. I took corona test but it is negative. One of my friends told to take Himalaya Cough syrup (koflet). Can I take that while pregnancy? I already have depression anxiety problem taking low dose medicine. I am very much anxious about my health. Please help me🙏🏾

Hi My son was diagnosed with acute adenotonsillitis 6 month back my paediatrician have given him septilin syrup for 3 months montair lc syrup for 6months & metaspray for 6 months. He was doing ok with no problems but since the time we stopped montair lc he is getting bouts of cough every alternate days for 30-40 mins which subsidised itself without any thing sometimes warm water or honey . My paediatric its ok but he gets these sometimes while doing excessive running & sometimes he is ok . We have shown to ent also as per him his adenoids are not worse .We went to pulmonologist who did chest xray which was fine Cbc test With wbc count -11700 Lymphocytes-45 Hct-38.8 Mcv-75.34 Mch -25.63 Rest were in range Aec-585 Ieg-61.78 He has sneezing also Pls let me know what should be done from my end? Also what kind of cough is this?? Regards

My babygirl is 5.5 month old. We been giving Vit d syrup. 800 IU. We were giving 1 ml daily since birth as per doctor prescription. Today got to know that we should be giving 0.5 ml only. Now I am worried about side affects. Is there any side affects of giving 1 ml. It was giving daily. Is it safe for baby

Hi. My baby is 2.5 months old (Female) & her weight is 5.1 kg: Her birth weight was 2.8 kg. I'm giving Vitamin D drops everyday. But hospital prescribed A-Z drops, Ossopan D & Orofer XT drops to be given daily. I haven't given them because I feel it's too many syrups. Please let me know if I should give it? She's doing fine without it.

I have had H pylori and mild gastritis and finished treatment last year. Currently I'm on Sompraz 20. I'm also a vegetarian and start eggs recently. My b12 levels 6 months ago was 192 and I was given Neurobion Forte and post 3 months it increased to 272. I have symptoms like heart palpitations and anxiety. I am not comfortable in swallowing a pill everyday. Can you please suggest a syrup or sublingual which is easier to take instead of tablets?

My gynaecologist gave me gynorite syrup... Twice daily till bottle finishes off.. My problem was Itching while discharge... (chlamydia infection detected and treated with doxycycline 100mg bd for 1 week before this) But on the bottle its written for over bleeding problems.. So can i use this? Also she advised antifungal tablet and also  himalaya lukol tablet along with this.. But these both are ayurvedic products.. Idk why she advised this along with tablets.. Are these safe to use for this problem? Help please

Hello Sir/Madam, For my 4yr kid frequent fever problem all the doctors are suggesting to give P250. So once he get fever for him we start giving him P250. Now more than 1 and half bottle is over and still fever not reduced. But today also doctor suggested P250 syrup. My question is if we give more P250(more than 1 or 2 bottles). Will it be harm for my kid health. Because every month he is getting fever(all vaccines done)and every month we are giving P250 as per doctor suggestion.

Interesting fact My bp In suprine 110/80 Sittiing 122/78 Standing 120/80 I have cough When I cough my systolic BP goes up 180/190 for fraction of second(1/2 sec)(stay 1/2 sec) and comes back normal. I recored using sphygmomanometer while coughing. Loading cuff at 180 mm hg . Is this normal or pathology?

I have suffering from cough........since 4-5months.......i dont know why its coming...................in between these months i also consults a doctor and take their medicine.......and chekup my chest x-ray and haemoglobin test all are normal........and also i havent any problem leaving cough like ..........fever ,sweating,chest pain nothing ........btt my cough is still same. Its came when i woke up in morning and last tonight. Btt its not came when i sleep.

Hello, My baby is 9 month and 25 days. Suffering from low fever, major cough and cold. My doctor have prescribed 1. Ambrodil S = dosage 5 ML ( thrice a day ) @ 4 days. 2. Syrup XYZAL = dosage 2.5 ML ( once at night)@ 4 night. Is Ambrodil S safe for infants as not mentioned for  pediatrics on bottle. Please suggest. Thanks in advance. Swarna
