I m having cough n cold n slight fever. I took cough syrup n incid-l but it's not subsiding. I took paracetamol too

My son is eleven months old n having cough from morning. Any medicine. He was having fever three days back n we have given paracetamol syrup p-125 for two days. Cough is there for last three hours. Looking for a medicine. thanks

How to differentiate the cough due to infection vs the cough due to fluid in lungs ? Initially a doctor prescribed antibiotics and cough syrup to which the cough didn't respond. Then after severe episodes of coughing, another doctor prescribed lasix for which there was immediate response. So, basically is there a difference between the cough due to fluid in lungs and the one caused due to infection. This makes us self assure that the reason for cough is justified. I have cough for 14 days. I am taking medicines through syrup. First i used benadryl, it doesn't work for me. So I changed to doctor prescribed syrup Bro-Zedex it shows me some relief not totally, with that I used Gokof by Fizikem. By all these the cough not decreased but some what better. What should I want to do for better than this medicines to cure from cough???

My 2.8 year old daughter is having 101.8 -102 fever from 2-3 days .. having lot of cough also .. giving her macbery ls syrup , solvin cold syrup and levolin syrup and meftal and calpol syrup.. but still every six hours she is getting fever again .. what else needs to be done .. ? Hi, My 14 months old baby (11 kg) has cough and chest congestion. Doctor said it is due to pollution, smog. allergy because the baby has no fever. Sometimes she used to take the inhaler prescribed by the doctor. But still she faces the cough problem. Please suggest some medical tests so that I can get this checked properly.
