Hi I have had a productive cough for the past 3-4 weeks after I had a viral cold. My throat feels irritated and it get's worse at night/laying down. Should I be concerned?

From last 5 days my son is having fever at nyt 102 heavy cough and vomitted 3-4 tyms in these 5days not liking to have food or anything
