Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Inspite of all these medicines my wife is still having coughing and I think mainly because of sphutum stuck in lungs which is not getting expelled easily and she is struggling alot. I m a general physician, thinking of giving Asthalin inhaler spray. Kindly suggest if it's correct or advice a  better medication for easily expellation of sphutum/phlegm from lungs. She is having slight wheezing also near apical area and having exersion on breathing.

I am a chain smoker, and these days i am quitting it, i am feeling lil pain in my sinuses and also swollen mouth and throat and always feel cough coming from my throat and i can't breath properly from my nose and i can breath from my nouth and also when i try to drink something my ear gets silent, its something like going inside my ears and also i am seeing floaters in my eyes from a long time, and there is pain in my right arm muscles and joints, and feeling lots of acidity. please help me exactly what i am suffering from

I am 16 year old male, mostly normal medical history, but recently kicked a 2 year smoking habit that was almost a pack a day at its peak. Since right before I quit, I've been constantly coughing up sputum, that is abnormally dark, no blood though. I also am suffering from areally raspy voice, shortness of breath, and am beginning to have difficulty swallowing, and loss of appetite, which worries me.

From 19th may suffering from fever, Cough,Nose running..with dose antibiotics Taxim o..He cured but again fall ill.. with variation in climate.agaim cured by dose of antibiotics Clavam Bid, Zinkup, Norvent D,Omnacordil, followed by steam.. Again fall ill... I would like to know at what interval antibiotics can be repeated. Also suggest me what should I do to keep my 8 month old son healthy...

I have been coughing from last few months and sputum result shows "GRAM STAIN as "Few gram Positive cocci seen.Few polymorph's seen,few gram negative bacilli seen".All other points are not seen like AFB and fungal elements.As per local doctor advise I have taken ALLEGRA-M.But it is not helping much.Kindly suggest me medicine or activity to come over this disease. Cold and cough Male, 28 My child age is 2month she is a girl. When she born has to suffering from cold. She is all time suffering in his nose to cold. I also used naso clear drop and otriben pediatric drop. But she is good one week after than one week she is suffering the same problem. All time we thought that what is permanent solution. I visit 02 doctor but they advise use the drops when she suffering for clod. Now few days she suffering from cold and caugh and all times his nose is block. Please help me to solve the permanent solution

I am CABG patient operated abt 11 months back.my lung x-ray is absolutely clear.But last two months my coughing is not going.I have no problem in breathing in night but my nose pessage gets blocked on one side while sleeping.I tried Amoxicillin 500 mg for 10days My question is is it related my CABG surgery. I have no diabetes.

Dear sir,I m 18 years old female.i m having persistent cough from last 2 months including chest pain,wheezing sound,fast heartbeat,chest pain etc.i have been diagnosed with patchy consolidated lung, doctor gave me antibiotics for 5 days but it didn't work.i m frustrated.plz help

Dear doctor, I get cough & cold (sometimes fever also) almost every month. And it doesn't cure until I take antibiotics (usually for 5 days). I don't self medicate, however, every time I do try to resolve the problem by salt water gargle & steam. But mostly I HAVE to take the antibiotics. Please suggest me ways to increase body's natural immunity to fight infection. Or, if possible, some solution to avoid antibiotics. Thank you
