Wife is an MDP patient. sustaining on Licab. Now it is becoming difficult to maintain the optimum Li level in blood. Manic Episodes are becoming more and more difficult. Depressive stage is not seen right since the beginning. Depakote was tried but not effective and it was counter productive. Any alternatives??

I am on a 10 day medication course for the treatment of dry cough (i will be attaching the list of medication alongwith the query). Alongside that i take the antidepressant (escitalopram) and a mood stabilizer (licab). I am drowsy and sleepy throughout the day, is it advisable to discontinue with any of the medicines? Currently taking Libotryp Ds Licab 300mg qutan 600mg .I have problem from benzodiazepine which is included in Libotryp. I want to take amitriptyline for sleep which is also part of Libotryp. But I have prob with all benzodiazepine, and after taking Libotryp for two years again sexual dysfunction problem have arised that is why I want amitriptyline for sleep Pls guide
