Homocysteine
Hi.
Recently I got my blood test done from Thyrocare.
In the report my Homocysteine value as come greater than 65.
I don't smoke, don't drink and don't eat red meat. I eat chicken twice a week and rest of the week it's more of home cooked vegetables, chapatis and dal. I eat twice or thrice a week outside.
What could be the cause of increase in the value of Homocysteine?
What effect this increase can have on my heart or body ?
Also I am taking Telemekind-H medicine , 1 tab in the morning for BP past 10 years and Lipikind -F , 1 tab at night for cholesterol past 3 years.
Is this increase in Homocysteine is due to these medicines or something else?
Kindly suggest what measures I should take to bring my Homocysteine value to normal?
Thanks

Taking lots of medicine - side effects ?
I am 65 & retired. I never had any Heart disease. My Gall- Bladder(1996) & Prostate(2011) are operated. Now my BP, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile, USG reports are all well within normal. Presently I am taking Deplatt A75, Pantodac 40, FBX 40, Lipikind 10, Calchek T40, CTD 6.25, Revelol XL 12.5. My BP remains 120/82 with medicine. In the last week my BP goes down to 110/70 & the present Dr. withdrawn CTD 6.25 & Revelol XL12.5. My job was transferable. The first doctor prescribed Aspicot 20, Pantodac, FBX 40, Amlopress 5 about 17 years back. After that all other doctors continued Aspirin, Antacid, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile related medicines. Although the related reports were normal. Now I understand that I have been addicted with the medicines. Please advise whether the medicines should be continued or are there any side effect(s)? May be suffering now a days. Please advise.

Dizziness fatigue nausea stomach
My mother who is 81 years ols suffered an heart attack in June 2020. She was put of following medicines since than under the supervison of cardiologist. Lipikind cv 10/75, Dytor plus 5 half, Razo 20, Metolar xr 12.5, Angiplat 2.5. She is for the past few months feeling dizziness, loss of appetite, fatigue in the morning only. By afternoon it is ok. Even loss of energy is there. Today nausea in stomach also. Today checked her bp in home with omron monitor. The reading fluctuated from 122/66 till 102/49, 112/57, 119/60 in a gap of one hour.
Are the medication responsible. Lipid profile conducted in June has been normal.
My question is whether statins decrease bp as mentioned here. Is vertigo responsible or omron electronic bp monitor has a problem .
