Is faropenem category b or c? Been prescribed for uti as per culture n sensitivity report by my gynaecologist.But I googled n couldn't find it's category anywhere

I'm having recurrent uti since 14 weeks. Right now 18 weeks. After culture report, dr. Prescribed feropenem 200 twice a day for 5 days as it showed sensitivity. Bacteria was resistant to augmentin. Dr. Said feropenem is category B but while buying from online website it's written category c in one website and category b in other. Please suggest it's category. Please

I was having uti. Bacteria isolated as per culture n sensitivity report -Pseudomonas aeruginosa n pus cells 18-20. Dr. Prescribed farobact 200 as other category b medicine was not in the sensitivity list. Will it affect brain development of my child at 38 weeks?

Hi Dr my mother has high wbc count range 25-50/HPF, random glucose 230. Frequent fever with temp 101-102 degrees. Want to know is it serious, should we admit her. Dr prescribed, Uritop, Urosol and Faropenem. Do we need to admit her at the earliest or give medications and wait and see if she gets better?

These days the typhoid fever is becoming an antibiotic resistant one. The antibiotics that used to treat typhoid for the same person for the same strain isn't working any longer. What antibiotics do you advice the patients to take during typhoid fever? Chloramphenicol, cefixime, cefuroxime axetil, azithromycin,cefpodoxime and their combinations are working well. Should a person go for higher class of antibiotics such as faropenem etc. Or what's your advice ?
