Faropenem prescribed at 38 weeks
I was having uti. Bacteria isolated as per culture n sensitivity report -Pseudomonas aeruginosa n pus cells 18-20. Dr. Prescribed farobact 200 as other category b medicine was not in the sensitivity list. Will it affect brain development of my child at 38 weeks?

it will b prudent to take medicine which is sensitive for bacteria

u must drink lots of water , take urine alkaliniser,  maintain perineal hygiene,  get urself completely treated for uti , as it may lead to preterm labour though its 38 wks pregnancy so nothing to worry happy motherhood
