I'm taking medicines for PCOD for 5 months. I don't have a regular menstrual cycle. Is it affect pregnancy? In this month I had heavy bleeding and severe pain during the first three days of periods. Also I'm having vomiting tendency and diarrhoea. When can I stop these medicines? Dr preferred Diamet for 30 days. Can you suggest an apt solution for my problem?

I am a married working woman. I have PCOD for which my gynecologist has advised me to have Diamet SR and folic acid tablets since I do not want any contraceptives that would hinder me conceiving a baby. Prior to having these medications my periods were always early by 10 to 14 days but after this it is always late by 10 to 11 days from the actual cycle date. Because of this delay I check for pregnancy but nothing shows up on the tests and after many more days I get my periods. This has been happening from past 6 months.

I hav pcod and trying for first baby.. I was getting regular Period of 30 days cycle From March 15th met gynecology  Started taking these tablets folmate, Ovigyn d3, diamet sr 500 and normoz April 11th I got very scanty light spotting For 3 days then again April 24th I got light bleeding For 3 days wen asked my gynic She said its ovulation bleeding The problem now is I didn't get my period till now may Month.. I check pregnancy test on May 14th and may 19th it is negative Now again consulted my doctor She said to wait till this month end so am Confused if am pregnant or not.. I am so confused Wen my period as regular All these while after taking the above medicines my period is delay for this month is it pregnancy or not..

Im a 29 yr old married female trying to conceive since 8 months.. i usually get my periods regularly. Cycle length is 29-30 days. But last month i took fertigyn 10k fr egg rupture. today is day 33 n still no periods. I was taking normoz diamet MCBM-L & dexona for 1 month . Stopped yday. Doc also asked me to take progynova & duphaston fr 2 weeks which i completed yesterday. Im very much worried. Is there a chance that ive conceived Or can any of the above mentioned tablets cause a delay in periods ?? Im so concerned on this. Please let me know
