My bp pressure was normal 120/80 but ever since I start taking budesonide oral(budez CR)6 mg per day for crohn's ileitis since last 3 weeks my bp has become quite high almost 140/95 on an average .. Can budesonide steroid cause this bp increase or it due to some other issue ? I have active crohn's disease due to which I am taking this medicine along with mesalamine

28, F. Using Budamate 200 respules for the past 4 months. Haven't had any attacks since. Stopped taking it for a week now. No problems. I'm wondering if I should stop taking it altogether. Or if, should I continue, how long do I take this medication?
