Dear sir, I'm Asik, a medical student from Kolkata, India,,newly diagnosed as crohn's ds, taking budesonide(9mg) and Mesalzine(1mg) for 2.5 month..initially I had a complain of diarrhoea and per rectal bleeding..but no history of fever or wt loss..but now after a repeat retrograde enteriscopy, it found that there areso many small small ulcer entire its long extent..and also it is found that TB PCR is positive..my doctor ask to stop budesonide, and pentasa abruptly..and to start ATD..Q1.What sho

It's always better to get your histopathology slides and blocks reviewed for second opinion. Many times is difficult to distinguish between crohns disease and tuberculosis. And in done instances both go together.
