My 6 month daughter had cold and cough followed by high fever ( upto 103) between  31st march to 6th april. Doctor digonsed it as pneumonia and prescribed following medicine Syrup augmentin duo 3.5 ml twice a day for 5 days Drop asthakind p .4ml twice a day 5 days Syrup omnacortil 3.5ml twice a day 3 daya Drop crocin 1ml sos Nebulize 6 hourly 3 days( .5 budesal) Medicine worked and she was okay later in last week she had green color stool and loose motion  we again consulted stool was tested mucous detected,( no value) pus cell occasional Doctor suggested Syrup taxim o 3.5 ml twice a day 5 days Syrup vizylac support 5ml twice a day 5 days These medicine also worked but from last 3 days she is having little fever around 99.2 to 99.8 and her toilet is discharged with yellow/pinkish color ( occasionally).She is eating well( dal , sooji kheer) but while taking mother feed it seems she is having some problem in breathing.Kindly suggest is anything to worry please suggest

Hi all, My wife had an periods on 20 jan and she was expecting next period near by 20th feb as dates was missed we visited gynec and she asked to do reports all were negative. And after that she prescribed meprate 10 mg to get periods soon but after 5 days of dose periods didnt start. we waited for 3-4 days and periods started on 9th feb. Lmp was 20 th jan. Now we again visited doctor as we have religious pooja from 7th till 15th march amd we want either prepone before 7th march or postpone after 15th so doctor again suggested meprate to take from 7th march till 14th march. I do not understand in starting meprate was used to get periods soon. Now on 7th march she told with meprate periods will be delayed. Howz that possible same tablet act as prepone and postponed. I doubted. Please assist with better advise. Also  ncnorm p and ncncorm e are two tablets which was prescribed to prepone vy other doctor a year ago but can this be take to prepone periods?

I was moderately myopic along with moderate astigmatism in both of my eyes. 5 weeks have been passed since LASIK. One day post op in the right eye I was 6/6 with PMT of +0.5 -1.25*72° but one month post op I was 6/9 (P) with PMT of -0.25 -2.00 * 16°. Now things seems too blurry and spreading outwards with right eye. Squeezing right eye makes things clear. My osmolarity value of right eye is 280 ( no dry eye). Pentacam and topography and pressure reports are normal. So I want to ask 1. Why cylindrical power was increased from -1.25 to -2.00 ? Will it further increase? 2. Right eye vision is too blurry should I order specs of that cylindrical power now? ( Although doctor forbade me to do so) P.S. I was -4.00 D cylindrical in pre op in right eye, but doctor corrected for -2.75 D, still residual astigmatism should be -1.25, but it is -2. My RSBT in this eye is 374. 3. Is this a case of vision deterioration due to keratoconus progression? ( Km = 45.9 post op). What should I do to improve

5 weeks passed since having LASIK. Since then , I am noticing a visual difference between the two eyes. My pre op prescription was -4 -2.75*170° OD and -6 -2.5* 170° OS. After LASIK, one day post op I was tested 6/6 both eyes. But when I see only with my right eye , that eye seems to be blurry. Although I can see from that eye but to get a clearer  vision, I has to squeeze that eye. I can see perfectly with both my eyes. One month lost op my vision in right eye was 6/9 (P), PMT was -0.25 -2.0*72°. Doctor said it was due to dry eyes, they prescribed me one more drop other than existing drop, but I think this isn't the case of dry eyes, something unusual is going on with my right eye. -2 D cylindrical power is very high. Don't know if it will get back to normal. Should I wear specs of this prescription or should I wait because I also think that this power may change rapidly. What's going on I can see clearly with both of my eyes but individually there's a difference. Please explain.

Hi, according to the nurse I am 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I am married for 5 years now. March 18 was my last period and it ended at March 21. I had unprotected sex with the hubby at 24 and 26 of March but I allso have sex with other partners on the 2nd of April (guy#1) and on the 7th of April (guy#2). Guy #2 told me he is physically not capable to make anyone pregnant cuz his MAN part crushed in an accident and doc told him he can't be a father again. (though Idk how truthful it is) and he didn't cum inside me. And with guy #1 I had sex on the 2nd and we used condom first time but second time he did some stroke without condom but didn't cum. Than on April 10th and 12,i had sex with husband again unprotected and the following week on the 17tn I did a pregnancy test which showed positive. I have very irregular period, so I used to maintain my period cycle through p tracker and according to the app I was fertile from April 9-14 & ovulation date was 13. Need to know when I got pregnant

In the context, it be stated that she was/is an epileptic patient since 1992 and she also a victim of DVT on both legs since 2012 & 2013. She also suffers from obesity, swelling in legs after DVT. She is also suffering from OA, though earlier she has RA, recently she has undergone surgery fissures with inflammed external piles. She is a patient of Hypothyroidism. Frequently she is having cramps in legs or veins. Presently, severe pain in left leg. B.W. is 85kg. Daily taking Eltroxin 75mcg. She is also having idiopathic generalized seizures with IGF syndrome. Her medications for epilepsy are Valance OD 500 1 tab BD and Levipil XR 500 1 tab OD, Cloba 10 1 tab HS prescribed at NIMHANS under Sr. Prof. Dr. P. Satish Chandra (Director/Vice - Chancellor), although Cloba 10 had been stopped by herself. Stopping it, she is often get unmindful.

My height is 4'10" n weight 50 KGs m a house wife. I look so fat nd chubby:( therefore I have started dieting.. But I don't know much about dieting for weight loss, usually what I do is as follows:- Drinks a glass of methi soaked water when I wake up at about 9-10 am:( In Breakfast, Have oats A glass of skimmed milk with nutrislim+ powder Nutrislim capsule In lunch, One bowl rice with dal n vegetables 3-4 soaked almonds WD skin or soaked chana n sprouts wen I feel like munching after lunch In evening A bowl of salads(apple,nashpati,tomato,cucumber, sprouts,lemon) In dinner One roti with vegetables After dinner again a glass of skimmed milk with nutrislim+ powder then a nutrislim capsule I do 30 minutes of exercise daily n some jogging(I don't do any physical work other then this in a whole day:( ) This is how I do my dieting but m afraid if m doing it wrong.. I just searched the internet:-P I just want to know will I be able to loose weight thus way?? Please suggest...

Hi Doctor, I am a male from India working in Dubai 31 years of age and my wife is India. My question are as follows. 1)Since Last August 2015 I have been regularly visiting massage parlor once in a month to be precised 11 times till 30 April 2016 every time I visited a massage parlor I got myself mastarbated from the massauses (hand job) and are there any chances of Hiv infection in the above mentioned case. 2)Since I have last visited the massage parlor 30 the April 2016 I have conducted following test. #1 day after last visit - hiv 1 and Hiv 2 P 24 antigen test. #11 days after last vist-elisa test #20 days after last visit -tridot test #25 days after last vist-rapid test at Ictc center in India #55 days after last visit- hiv 1 and hiv 2 p24 antigen test. All tests are negative do I need further testing.i did not have any sexual encounter since 30 April 2016. 3)What is the window period for testing after the exposure.

My father is undergoing from open heart surgery before 8 years back.. And then his health is good... But now when we done 2d echo.. Report suggest that, LA/RA/RV Dilated, LV normal size, no hypertrophy, No LV RWMA, good LV/RV SYSTOLIC function (LVEF-55%),E/O prosthetic at Mitra position decreased movment of prosthetic valve leaflate sec to? pannaus formation. nnormaly, aortic valve thickened, other cardiac valve are normal, no vegetation/ no effusion. E/o clot in LA. DOPPLER AND COLOR DOPPLER P/M ACROSS prosthetic Mitral Valve 24/14 mm of he, MVA by PHT 0.74 cm2 Grade 2 AR, NO AS, NO e/o prosthetic valvular and paravalvular regurgitation Grade 1 TR, PASP by TR jet 55 mm of hg CONCLUSION Prosthetic valve in Mitral position E/o Prosthetic valve dysfunction sec to Pannus formation ,mild aortic regurgitation, moderate pulmonary hypertension, No LV RWMA, GOOD LV/RV systolic function . So doctor told us to do again open heart surgery.. SO MY QUESTION IS THERE ANY OTHER TREATMENT.
