Hello, My daughter is 6 years old and wishes 22 kgs. She has had issues with her adenoids but has been ok for the last 6 months. 1 week back she had phlegm and cough and ear pain. Visited an ENT doctor who prescribed Augmentin for 5 days, twice a day. Her ear pain went away in 2 days and she felt better. Augmentin did cause a bit of throat ulcer which also resolved. Now after 3 days of stopping augmentin, she again has throat irritation, bit of phlegm and one  white patch on her tonsil. She clears her throat and coughs. We are making her gargle etc but between yest and today the redness in her throat has increased. Pl advice. We just finished antibiotics a week back and this is again there in 3 days. What could this be abd what would the next steps be please. I'm grateful for any advice. Thank you

I'm currently on Aldactone 25 mg, as my gynecologist prescribed it to me for testosterone. Since the last 2 days i have pain in my back molar tooth, and since the last night I noticed swelling on the cheek due to the toothache. Can i take augmentin 625, after aldactone 25?

Hello Baby had high fever of 103 So Doctor gave P 250 suspension and augmentin Duo. Fever came down to normal but baby has watery stools more than 10 times Does antibiotics causes diarhea ...should we stop the antibiotics or continue the course

I'm suffering from throat pain and fever of 101.3 We had been trying for pregnancy and we had unprotected intercourse this month. Now which antibiotic is safe. ? Can I take augmentin 625 as I am carrying the same with me. No cough till now and not much sputum as of now Thanks a lot for helping me out

My son 8 months old has ear and throat infection. Doctor prescribed augmentin duo for eight days. It is almost 5 days over. Now fever is not thr. He coughs . Some times in a day once or twice he has water diarrhea. Some times we see bloated tummy. But reduces it self. He was very tired. When should I get alarm. Any one please suggest.

I m 32 weeks pregnant with severe swelling and ingrown hair ( folliculitis) in the pubic region. My dr did blood test and saw my WBC is 12,900 and CRP is 9.2 mg/L so dr has advised me to take augmentin 625 mg for 5 days with T Bact ointment. Is this a safe medication? I m 33 yrs old with no relevant medical History

My son (12 years old) suffering from cough (moderate intensity) for past few days. Consulted a pediatrician. He prescribed Ascoril D plus cough syrup (7ml 3 times a day) and Levocet 5mg two times a day and did nebuluzation few times. Nebulization helped to reduce cough for few hours, but there wasn't much relief from medicines. Then I met him again and he suggested xray and xray report showed mild lung infection. Not sure if xray was necessary and if it is safe. He prescribed Augmentin 625mg tablet twice a day for 5 days and told to continue medicines and nebulization. I came to know that Augmentin 625 is a very powerful antibiotic and 625mg dose may not be safe for 12 year old child. Probably 375mg would have been better. But I have already given 625mg two times till now (in two days) and I stopped giving syrup. He is feeling better now, but I am worried whether this tablet caused any harm to my son already. Would like to know your opinion. Thanks in advance.

Hi, my wife is 28weeks pregnant. 8 days back she was diagnosed with kidney stones and urinary track infection. Since then doctor is giving her augmentin. For first three days it was 1.2 gm twice a day intra veinous after that it has been 625mg twice daily. Today we got another urine test done and doc says infection is lowered but still there and therefore asked her to continue augmentin 625mg twice daily for another 10 days. That'll make it almost 20days of Augmentin course. We are worried if that's safe for the baby.

I am feeding 1y 4m old baby and I got tonsillitis and throat congestion with white patches. I've taken Azee 500 for two nights still has not given any relief but fever frequency and body pains reduced. Should I take Augmentin 625 or continue Azee for next 3days??

For bartholin cyst which has burst, I am prescibed pantocid 40 mg and Augmentin 625 duo. But After taking Pantocid 40 mg am felling very dizzy, Is it compulsory to take both pantocid 40 mg and Augmentin 625 duo , together or Can I only take Augmentin 625 duo without Pantocid 40 mg ?
