My father is suffering from sinus related problem for d past 3 months. A yellowish smelly discharge is coming from his left nostril from d past 3 months.He had taken medicines such as deflazacort 6 mg, amoxycillin & potassium clavulanic acid 625 mg, fexofinadine & montelukast, fluticasone nasal sparay.but his condition had not improved yet.when he is taking d medicine he is feeling better but soon after 8 hours of result he is feeling same pain .now doctor suggested him to go for sinus surgery .is it right decission to go for d surgery & also let me know the cost of d surgery.

My 2 months 13 days baby(weight 4kg) has ear infection so dr gave antibiotics nuclav(amoxycillin&potassium clavulanate)..8/7/2024 In medical shop they wrongly given 7.5ml for morning and 7.5ml for night instead of 0.75ml.. I have wrongly  given 5ml in night..(baby is active and take feed now) whether overdose of antibiotics cause harm kidney and liver???(still now no loose motion normal ) whether to check creatinine level??

My daughter is suffering from fever since 3 days. Taking combiflam tablet and Amoxycillin potasium clavulanate (642) susp. Today fever not come. Her typhoid report is: S. TYPHI'O'- 1:20(+), 1:40(+), 1:80(-), 1:160(-) S. Typhi'H'- 1:20(+), 1:40(-), 1:80(-) 1:160(-) What 's the result mean??Kindly advice further treatment. If fever not coming now means recovery started.

My daughter has been suffering from accute tonsils for 2 days . We have used medication till now ,amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate  antibiotic 3 doses , levocitrizine dihydrochloride  2 doses , ibuprofen 3 doses. She has been drooling and also refusing to eat or drink anything as she is unable to swallow. Noted that after taking ibuprofen , she is active for 4 hours with out pain but after 4 hours symptoms are recurring. Please suggest if we need to change any medication for better results or continue the medication.

I'm a chronic sinusitis & allergic rhinitis patient. Before 1 month I had cold and cough. Initially treated with Amoxycillin, Dolo 650 Then Moxinow, Montair FX, Mcberry(10 days over from this course of treatment) But bout of cough begins with no indication to stop. Then offered following Mcberry, Ebast 20, Montair FX, Betadine antiseptic Cough frequency & duration reduced. But still cough starts with specific feeling of etching in throat.Highly irritating & painful. How this bout of cough can be cured, advice please. Regards.

My Son is suffering from pnemonia only symptoms are cough. Doctor prescribed Mega- CV 300 mg injection.(amoxycillin and potassium clavulante injection 300 mg) Twice a day and 5 days course. And cough syrup actifed DM. His early symptom is only cough after 5 days doctor prescribed blood test and chest x ray in that pnemonia found in right lung. After two days of injection his cough is under control but at night when he breath some snoring sounds like fluid stored in chest. Please suggest how many days required to cure please suggest.

I have had fever 101- 103  for the last two days , difficulty swallowing, joint pain , red spots on the roof of mouth, rapid heart rate.Took paracetamol to no avail. Complete loss of appetite.Started taking amoxycillin -potassium clavulanate 625 mg 2  times daily for two days. How long should I take it to completely recover? Don't have fever right now. P.S - I have decompensated liver cirrhosis , non alcoholic, non diabetic, currently not taking any other medicine,

My son has been suffering from Fever, Cough & Cold for the last 4 days. His fever is under control after starting Amoxycillin. But he has persistent cough with solidified phlegm that doesn't seem to come out. As per his Paediatrician's advice, we took a Chest X-RAY today that revealed phlegm in the lower part of his lungs. Now, his Paediatrician is advising him to get admitted to the Hospital so that medicines to loosen and clear the phlegm could be administered intravenously for 3 to 5 days. But we would like to get a second opinion before deciding to admit him. Can other options like Nebulizer, Inhaler etc be tried? Appreciate your advice and help. Thanks

Sir, I have been suffering from irritation, sensation discomfort in mouth and throat, I need to spit again and again over again due to feeling discomfort, I also feel tightness and stiffness in neck also, and one side tonsil is looking like different in comparison to other side tonsil, such kind of discomfort feeling is reoccur only one aforementioned side, apart from this, in one ear I feel like, it is blowing specially in silence and solitude, I have visited ENT two times, one time he said mild infection, pharyngitis, etc, after two months I visited again he said there is no problem, and he gave antibiotics and gestro capsules, but it recurring. Pantoprazol capsule Septilin syrup Amoxycillin & potassium clavulanate Diclofenac potassium paracetamol Pantoprazole tablet. Hi It's been 3 weeks since I'm suffering from cough and sore throat. Now I don't have sore throat. Dry cough in night and yellow mucus in morning. In the beginning I had only dry cough for which Dr prescribed me to take glencoff dx syrup and some antibiotics bt cough still persisted. I again took medicine bt still didn't recover. Now sometimes when I cough, I cough so hard and continously I feel suffocated and breathlessness like I'm gonna die. Today I visited nearby hospital. Dr suggested me to do chest x-ray, and some tests like CBC, ESR, TSH and blood sugar test. And prescribed me to take amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate, levocitrizine, abiways 200 SR and prednisolone dispersible tablets. Is prednisolone tablets safe to take as it is a strong steroid.
