Hello Doctor, i'm 27yrs old.. My periods are regular, my height is 5'2" I weight around 45.5 kilos... I was asked to do a pelvis and abdomen scan as in the month of feb there was a delay of my periods for abt 15 days... I did d scan, ovaries are normal, POD and adbexa free No evidence of ascites... Impression : Bilateral polycystic ovaries.. Could you explain does it mean pcod? And yes m unmarried..

I am on a blood thinner for a clotting disorder. This month my period was crazy heavy. My gyno gave me a script for Provera 10 mg for 10 days. He told me to take it ASAP to slow the bleeding. I just took the second dose and the bleeding stopped. Should I expect bleeding to start again after 10 days?
