My doctor said that I have symptoms of PCOD and he gave me tablets for inducing periods. he told to come after 8 days wen I will be on my 3rd day of periods to have a blood test to check hormone level. Is it safe to take those medicine?

I am getting fatty day by day and my whole body remains swelled always. My diet has very limited calories. My legs also remains swelled. I have also migrain problem. My periods goes for 2days only. I want to know - my situation is normal or I need to consult with a gynaecologist.
