I have been given Gedarel 30 and I would like to use it straight away. Do I have to wait until I am on my period to start the pack or can I start it now? How many days until I will be protected if I start now?

Pls I took misoprostol and I bleeded for some few hours and it stop. After one week I started bleeding again but this one last for 8 days. Was the abortion successful?
