I have been experiencing continuous bleeding and irregular period from last month onwards I got my USG done and it diagnosed mild PCOD

My pelvis ultrasound report says I have 18 -20 follicles measuring 2-9 mm in both ovaries and I have been experiencing spotting from last 5 days. I getting period 5-10 days delay every month cycle. Doc has advised me medicine t-ovral for 21 days and t-trapic for 5 daysX3 to regularise my period cycle. Should I go with this medicine or I can wait for one month to see if my period becomes regular. Also my thyroid is 7.1 increased.
