Hello doctor, I have been diagnosed with pcod. My doctor has asked me to do some test to check my ovulation. Could you please let me know the suitable time for the test. As my periods are extremely irregular am confused when to do the test. Also, could you please let me know the name of the test.

Hi, there. I have been bleeding for almost a month. I suspect it is hormonal imbalance as I have had an ultra sound a while back and there were no problems with my ovaries, they were only big. When I was on the pill for a year after this test, I had no problems with bleeding whatsoever, but I didn't want to rely on synthetic hormones forever. My GP isn't very helpful as they always say they don't have appointments. I have just started taking Vitex fruit to manage the bleeding...

Hello Mam, I'm Dr. Mishika Jain I am having amenorrhoea since 3 months and my cycles have been irregular since 3-4 years. I have also done a course of ocp(diane 35) last year for 6 months after which they becane regular. Currently i'm taking medication(isotretinoin) for my acne which have also incresed a lot since last year. Should i get usg and hormones done or start ocp again?
