My cousin is not seeing any cervical mucus during the time of ovulation which she usually saw during her last periods.can one get period without seeing any cervical mucus,if yes how common?

Good evening madam, This month  my period came earlier (one week before) along with severe back pain and abdominal cramping and bleeding with heavy clots compare to before.Bleeding lasts only 2 days but back pain still continues( I can't even do my daily routine) and I'm feeling abdominal burning sensation from last few days.
