Hello! I had a month long mid back pain which got worse on a run. I visited my general surgeon and he prescribed a usg. The scan found microliths and mild pelvicalyceal splitting. What does this mean and how can it be treated?

Dear Sir/Mam, My daughter had 2 times UTI in the last 2 months so doctor advised to take MCUG and it shown as Grade 4 VUR on left side of the kidney and the USG shows Kidney and bladders are normal. I am confused wether we need to for surgery or treat with antibiotic. If surgery does it needs to be open surgery or laproscopy? Which one is more painless ?
