My father is having some health issue as he had gone through heart stunting surgery 6 months back and he is also a diabetic patient now from last few weeks his blood sugar level is fluctuating he is taking insulin also but when he take insulin his sugar level drops down to 70-80 (random)and when he miss insulin and only take medicine then his sugar level gets high to 230-270(2 hrs after eating).what should he do now?

Can karela powder be consumed to control high sugar level in diabetes. When should it be consumed and how much quantity. Can it be taken everyday. Should it be mixed with water or directly swallowed.
