My father was on steroids for a long time(21days) as prescribed by the doctor for covid pneumonia. I have been monitoring his glucose levels regularly. It's been 2days since he stopped taking steroids(tapering slowly) ,his sugar levels in fasting was 130 and post 2hrs after meal was 311. He was diabetic already he is consuming his regular medicines. But still post meals his glucose levels seems elevated. He is consuming Azulix 3MF forte and Remo 100.

Mother's HBA1C is 7.6 (her sugars were more earlier and she recovered from covid 45 days ago at home. She consumed steroids 6 days, 12mg deflazacort). Attached her blood reports, her wbc are 3700. Really worried about risk of mucormycosis. Although 45 days passed her recovery, is there a risk to catch it now?

Is WBC count of 3700, (neutrophils 1890), and HBA1C 7.6 but normal blood sugars now from 2 weeks (120/140 fbs/ppbs), and 45 days post covid recovery (at home) risk for mucormycosis? Very much worried.

I have done HbA1c test. HbA1c is 9.6 Estimated average glucose(eAG) is 229. What does it mean? I am having metformin 500mg tablet once before food.. will it decrease sugar level? Thanks

Haloo sir my sugar level was alway 180 to 200 . But for last few day it become low . One day my fasting was about 70. And now without eating medicine my fasting sugar level is 112. And pp is 160. Is it normal. Are ihave to take any medicine

Mom is om steroid medication and must be given insulin day and night. Can it be given post meals? Or should it be guven before food?

My mothers age is 68.she is diabetic. Her bs f is 150 and bs pp is 180. Lipid profile normal. Creatinine normal. Hb level is 9.5. Is it worrisome? She is suffering sudden uneasiness for some time. Difficulty in  breathing . What treatment necessary for her?

Post covid hba1c came as 6.9 Pre covid it was 6.5 Started metformin 500mg twice a day from 21st May Checkec FBS and ppbs sugar on glucometer today. FBS - 106 PPBS - 151 Are these sugar levels under control or something to worry ?
