Hormonal Imbalances
Insulin and types
Thank you Dr sheetal if you are reading this for responding last time . Ever since 2012 i have been using novorapid (rapid acting) and levemir (long acting) insulins and they worked fine but certainly another doctor changed them to mixtard 30/70 as i am a bit careless in taking insulin . And I don't find mixtard working fine as still my glucose levels are about 300-400 . So is it good to go back to novorapid and levimir or stick to mixtard with some alterations?

Normal T3, T4 & high TSH
I got my wife's reports yesterday for TSH tests & am worried about her health, her T3 is 1.15, T4 is 77.2 & TSH is 42.14, though she doesn't have any visible symptom, only that her mensurational cycle was irregular twice & irritability at times. Though I tried to find out a bit over some articles online & found that the hypothyroid results in underactive gland & that the gland is shrunk a bit, but in her case as I can see it's not shrunk but looks a bit inflamed. She doesn't have gained or lost weight or shivering hands etc. She does have tiredness at times during the day & mood swings since a week. Could anyone please help me? I'd like to know if this is really thyroid, because T3 & T4 are normal ... Also could it be thyroditis ? Or subclinical thyroid ? Please shed some light on this, I could only gather this much knowledge in 1 night, I'd like to know what exactly the problem is & its root cause & if its treatable... Also Is this an emergency as I'm in a remote area. Please Help :(

Hypothyoidism since sept 2016
Initially i was diagnosed with alopecia areata in august 2016, for that i did thyroid test. my tsh level was 23.462 mIU/ml. (normal range 0.3- 6.02) T3 T4 normal. my anti microsomal antibodies were positive (44.36IU/ml)
i took a treatment for that via a doc as thyronorm 100mcg. my tsh was0.782mIU/ml in november 2016. it was normal
i did my test on 3 march 2017, my tsh was0.047 IU/ml. T3 T4 normal. anti microsomal antibodies positive.
There is no family history of thyroid diseases.
family history of diabetes present.
alopecia is treated completely.
no history of any other disease
currently palpitations and anxiety present.
menstrual cycle normal
Pls advice me further treatment.
