My grandma is having very high blood pressure many times.last night 149/220. Today morning 97/170. On going medicine is olmet amh 40. We had gone for lipid profile tests of her which resulted out very high..total cholesterol-302,serum triglyceride-397,hdl cholesterol-35.3,LDL cholesterol-187.31,vldl cholesterol-79.4, total/hdl cholesterol ratio- 8.6, LDL-D/HDL cholesterol ratio-5.31... please do help us for her cholesterol control and high bp. What should we do for an emergency relief while high blood pressure. Last night I gave a dytor (prescribed by my family dr.)after which she urinated a lot.

I have been getting chest pain from last 3 months..it's sometimes crushing type and some time radiating type.. I got endoscopy done it was normal , chest X ray normal, ECG ,Echo and TMT normal but In lipid profile vldl is high above 40 and tld also little high... The chest pain comes very often and comes more during resting period.. during sleeping and sitting.. have been taking gastric tablet nexpro from past 2 months daily ... I am worried

Hello Doctor, please advice should I need 24 hrs ambulatory BP monitoring? My BP is 130/80 and 125/84 in home while it increases in hospital visit. I mean to say fews days back my BP was dedected 150/90 in hospital during blood donation. Please guide. Thanks

Having below symptoms since 10th June, (initial mild but increased now) Had done Covid test also on 17th June -that's negative After taking meal and sometimes after doing some work. Shortness of breath, taking effort for deep breath. Feeling of throat chok just below the neck. Burping full day, Weakness Sleeping well, Feel normal for max 2-3 hrs in day time. Had met a Dr. (Pulmonologist) on 30th and done Echo, X-ray and HRCT, they said nothing serious in report, and advised below medicines Montair Fx daily for 10 days. Tablet Mucotab ET 600mg three times a day for 10 days. PAN D to twice day 10 days Etilaam once in night 10 days It's 8th day of having medicines but no improvement so far. Please suggest, which doctor I should meet now.

In my 24 hour holter report My rr interval was nearly 4 seconds at 1 am in night.. I also had one pause.. I was fully awake n didnt feel anything that time But in final report no mention of anything.. Doctor didnt even give print outs of these events! I consulted many docs wid the report and most are okay wid report but one said its serious and can cause ur heart to go into arrest!! What shud I do? Day n night I am obsessed wid thinking about that report.. I repeated another 24 hour holter.. That was completely normal.. RR interval okay., no pauses I got ecgs done in daytime but there no pause coz in day my rate is 90's I read on net that RR interval prolonged is serious!!! Why wud the doctor end up missing such serious thing?? I want to sue him for all the mental agony I am facing

I am checking my heart rate in pulse oximeter it is mostly between 49-55 oxygen is 95% and above only is it okay??

Yesterday night & day before yesterday night, while going to bed, my heart beat increases. I do not know the reason. It takes me 3-4 hours to get a sound sleep. Next day, I feel a weak heart. I am also taking my BP medicine Amlong 5mg. What shall I do?

I am having pain in the upper ribs mainly in the centre on the sternum and on the side of ribs. There is also pain in the backbone. The chest pain first started with right side but now it has spread to the entire chest area. It has started about 1 month back. Somedays it is less some days it is more. The pain is felt more when I sleep directly under the ceiling fan or table fan or A.C. I am sweating excessively for the last fewdays. I did the ECG, Chest X-Ray, CBC, Echocardiography. The reports of all the above reports are OK. After that I did the Lipid profile. There it was found that My Total Cholestrol Level was high at 286, Triglycerides - 194, HDL - 58, LDL - 189.2, VLDL - 38.8. Now my question is does high Cholestrol lead to chest pain ? Should I take any medicines for lowering cholestrol ? Will this releive my chest pain ? Please help me with your suggestions. Thanking you in advance.
