My brother is 19yrs old. He is continuously having vomiting after having meals. He first have an attack of severe cough with sputum coming out (sputum is frothy and white) followed by vomiting. Please tell whatand why could it be and how to go about the treatment?

I have Gerd on and off for the past few years. For the past 10days , there is acidity and reflux. When I have my meal, after a few bites that are fine, I can feel a dull pain in the middle of my chest and slowness, seconds after I swallow my food. Food feels like stop and go. My mouth and the throat and food pipe region feels very dry. I have been under ppi medication and my acidity is getting better. But this swallowing problem is bit concerning to me. Should I worry? I have a normal appetite.

I have been on ppi for a long time for GERD, IBS C and functional dyspepsia. My friend told me that PPI use causes problems in calcium absorption. Please help me with what I should take for maintaining calcium in my body along with PPI use .

Hello doctor I have been experiencing popping sensation in my upper left abdomen on pressing over that area..from past 1 year I had some episodes of burping last year for which I took ppi and now there is no much burping but there is popping sensation..
