Hello doctor, My father is 73 years old and he is getting continuous hicupps since two day for longer intervals of 3 to 4 hours. While sleeping it stops. He had cough and mild fever three days back and he is on antibiotic as per doctor prescription. He is also taking BP and sugar medicine for last 10 years. What could be the reason for continuous hicupps? Is there a reason for worry? Thanks!

I had a insect bite on my forearm, it was not a mosquito it was a brown/maroon crawling insect that bit me. It was itchy at first i scratched it and it bled but then it got okay but after the healing the i still have a bump there and it itches sometimes alot its been 3 weeks. Is it something serious? Why won't it heal? I got bit by mosquito but it got better after 1-2 dayw why isn't this bump going away i am worried...please advise...

Hi, i was suffering from typhoid fever for last 10 days which has been cured now. But i was suggested to undergo CBC and LFT tests within a week. In my reports recieved today, my platelet count is 478000 which is higher than normal. Does this indicate anything?
