I have a hemoglobin level of 16.3 is it high I saw something about polycythemia Vera on the internet which is a blood cancer and is diagnosed by high hemoglobin levels My hemoglobin:. 16.3 Rbc: 5.08 Wbc: 9100 Platlets: 3.5 laks I am a smoker I usually smoke 1pack of cigarettes per day and I think I am a little overweight as well My height is 5.9 and weight corresponding to it is 82 in a digital weight machine. My food habbits a very irregular. I consume alcohol weekly twice but in moderation. Kindly let me know what's wrong and how can I correct and lower my hemoglobin levels.

I has gastric problem from one month so doctor advuce me rabiprazole sodium once a day and gelusil twice a day but i didnt get enough relief from it after 7 days dosage so consult another doctor then he advuce me aciloc rd twice a day only so i got very much relief from that but feeling very dry throat and mouth after 3 days so is this due to aciloc rd or else plz suggest treatment
