Not able to test (covid test) but having cough may be little tonsils, lack of taste and loss of smell. Can i take vermact 12 to avoid chest infection?

Its been more than 10 days and fever of 99.4 is not going away We did the covid test but the report was negative We feel it that its a false report and we are taking all measures while quarantined but still fever is not shedding Our oxygen and pulse rate is also normal For how long will this fever last ? What extra steps do we need to take other than steam and drinking hot water and taking vitamins and zinc also

I had a habit of chewing tobacco but for past 6 months I have stopped that. But I am unable to eat spicy foods also the size of my mouth opening has reduced. I do smoke now. And feel burning sensation inside my mouth. Which field of doctor should be consulted for this.
