I was just diagnosed with RP  , iam 27 , and have pretty good central vision , with slight less peripheral , What are the options for me to slow my disease progression, I have just started seeing floaters which is a nuisance. Is NAC drug a good option for people like us ?

So I have floaters for the past 2 to 3 years. It happened suddenly, one fine day I saw something moving around my eyes out of nowhere and I realised it was floaters. After that I consulted eye doctor, though he didn't say much about it. I want to know why and how these happen, what is the cure and what has to be done? Is it very harmful? Will it affect vision? And also I was spectacles. Nowadays doctors do prescribed eye drops for dry eyes. Earlier I used to have Loc tears and now refresh tears.

Hello Doctors, This is regarding Eye power +7.50 for my spouse aging 36 having Cornea thickness 516 and 530. For her we are thinking Phakil IOL surgery which is higher than Lasik, in treatment and costs both. I want to know two things 1) if still Lasik can be done with the above data. 2) What should be estimated cost for IOL surgery for both eyes.

I have chickenpox since 3 days my left eye was watering and I noticed I have a small blister in my eye I am panicking as i read it somewhere it can damage my eye please help me

My husband hit my right eye with a high force.Immediately after that I felt a very high pain in my right eye.After a week of this eye trauma.I went to a local eye doctor they checked my eye using dilation and told that my retina is normal.They prescribed a megabrom eye drop for my right eye one drop twice for 15 days .After taking this for about 7 days , now I feel head pain along with eye pain and no improvement.Should I stop this or I have to continue this drop?.Though I went to the doctor and told them this issue but they are saying me to continue the same drop.May I know how long will it take my eye pain to get cured.I am feeling very scary.Is it compulsory to keep the eye closed most time to get cure the pain ? I am using laptop for studying .Do I need to stop this?

I am in the process of going through Femto-Contura Lasik next week. All my parameters are within normal limits as per pre-lasik workup. As the date of surgery is coming more and more close, I am having second thoughts about it specifically for its long term side effects and chance of possible vision loss. How common are the side effects or long term implications of Lasik and are those treatable? What are my chances for it to go wrong leading to possible vision loss? It would be helpful to get some opinions on the bad side of the surgery and the probable road ahead. Thanks in Advance.

When I woke up in the morning my eye was paining .. When I checked there was a blister on the inner eye corner. It's so paining now.

My husband underwent cataract operation last year for right eye.. Left eye got moti bindu and now he can't see anything with left eye.. How soon we should go for cataract surgery considering he don't have vision in left eye?
