Whats the success rate of posterior polar cataract surgery ? Is it too emergency to get it done urgently ? Is it rare in youngsters ? As far sighted vision is bit blurry ,else no other issue with eye.

Dear Doctor, My mother has a red patch in the left eye from yesterday. Didn't complain.of any injury or so until we noticed it. Has no pain or discomfort except a slight heaviness. Is there anything serious involved ? Plz help. Here's a picture from yesterday and today's.

Hi. I have got a stye on my left eye waterline(outsside) . For last 3-4 days. Please suggest any home remedy or will it dilute on its own. Dont want to take any medicines for this. Thank u

On July 2020 i had undergone the treatment for multiple lattice with hole in both the eyes, and the treatment i had undergone is Barrage Laser,at that time i used to see some increase in floaters and flashes at the edges of the eyes. The doctor said it will recover in 30-45 Days it will heal. But from the last 5-6 days i am having the following symptoms : 1. Increase in floaters. 2. Flashes at the edges of the both eye. 3. Some little pain and discomfortness in one eye sometime the other eye 4. Dryness and feeling of something under the eyes 5. Some white spots in eyes I am very prone to digital gadgets like computer and mobiles usage last for 8-10 hours a day. Is the above symptoms are caused by thr usage of digital products or something very serious.Please suggest me a way what should i do now .

My dad needs a cataract surgery, how safe is it to get it done now during Covid19 situation? Will necessary precautions be taken in the OT?

Breaking the question in parts for better clarity 1. Is inflammation inside the eye after ocular trauma always accompanied by the redness on the cornea? Or it's possible to have inflammation without the redness or very minor redness in the corner of the eye. 2.Can opthalmologists detect inflammation by seeing the picture of eyes on phone without conducting the slit lamp examination. 3. On a routine eye examination using slit lamp in a hospital, assuming that dilation is not done but certain lenses are used to magnify structures to look into anterior chamber and back of the eye, do doctors easily see how the drainage canals of eye are performing? Or its only visible if a special test gonioscopy is performed. 4. Can you see drainage canals with a simple torchlight.

I have swelling under my right eye. On the lower lid. And inner membrane is redder than the other eye. Also the skin is tender to touch and pains near the inner corner if touched. I don’t have any discharge or tears. Even the eye is normal. Just swelling and pain.

I have high myopic prescription. - 9 on both eyes. Astigmatism with cylindrical power of 0.75 and 1.25. Been wearing Toric silicon hydrogel soft contact lenses for a week. It is mostly comfortable only, no irritations, redness or excessive tears. Sometimes I don't feel the lens at all in eyes. But Im noticing a slight brownish ring around cornea (around black area). I dunno whether it's because of contact lens or Im having this even before wearing contact lenses and now only started noticing as I'm seeing my eyes often. Little bit worried. Kindly suggest what it could be.. Contact lens if bigger than cornea, if touches the white part can cause this brownish ring? My cornea too small for std contact lens dia..?

Why my one side eye or upper part of eye or one side head feel like heavy or discomport its almost 1month i check up my eyes they saied no problem in eye now what to do?
