Eye Care & Problems

For the past couple of months tears are flowing from eyes by itself, and i have no control over it. This is happening more so in summer, though in winter it existed as well. I frequently rub my eyes due to irritations. Is this the cause. could you please help diagnose.

I have been diagnosed with blepharitis more than a year ago.After I apply the prescribed medicine ,the symptoms reduces but after completion of prescribed medication it  recurs again and again .Is there any permanent solution of it because it is causing white flakes in lid margin and white discharge from the eye which causes a lot of discomfort.

I have been advised LE-BARRAGE laser for light flashes in the peripheral corner of my left eye. Should I undergo this procedure or not?

My eye have black floaters .. Very much amount .. I cannot see bright like .. Or something pattern . It will reflect back .. IF i see a word DOCTOR .. The same image formed for 1-2 sec ....large number of floaters .. Side view loss .... And eye pain when i wake up at morning

I am suffering from Eye floaters for very long time now. Is there a laser treatment available in India? Is it safe? Can you suggest a hospital for the same? Note - I have tested my Eye's twice in last 15 months. Doctor has concluded Retina is fine as of now. They are not in favour of Vitrectomy as Retina is fine. I am from Mumbai.

There is white patch in my iris. It's been there over 8 years. Theirs is no any problems with my vision but sclera turns into red regularly. So what is the prognosis?

Sometime feels strain in eye while working on computer and reading books or newspaper. I have get my eye sight checked ... 3 month ago and it was fine 6/6. Last time, I was feeling the same so get my eye checked ... but there was no issue. Do, I need spectacle? Do spectacle really help to keep eye sight constant?

I have checked my power recently. I have -2.50 sph and -0 .50 cyl with 180° axis on both eyes. Since we don't get cyl power below -0.75 cyl in a lens, the shopkeeper adviced me to take -2.75 sph lens. Is that OK if I increase my power by .25 sph to compensate for -0.50cyl with 180° axis
