Recently, I've been undergoing a, now I realize, really bad habit of sleeping with my contact lenses in. At first, it just seemed harmless to not take them out and it was tedious to take them out and put them back in in the morning. Well, after having had done this for so long, now whenever I DO decide to take out my contacts, it hurts to blink. I don't just mean mild "oh dang, wasn't expecting that" pain. I am referring to "Oh god. Put it back in, put it back in, put it back in" pain. To the point where wearing glasses becomes practically unbearable. I've tried everything from plucking eyelashes, rubbing my eye, keeping it open, keeping it closed, and just straight-up toughing it out. It doesn't end. My only relief if putting my contact lenses back in. Not only the pain without my contacts, but my eyes are starting to get heavily bloodshot. My left eye especially. I think I should take note that I have an astigmatism. I'm not sure if it's in one eye or both, but it's there.

I am 18 years old and have specs power of -12 right eye and -11 left eye i am wearing my specs since i was 5 and i want to remove my specs is it possible with such high power specs to remove them completely what are the procedures and in general how much is it going to cost me. thank you

I have been having troubled eyes for quite a some time now. On consulting with some doctor i got to know that there might be a small hole in my retina. So do I have to go through laser barrage or not??

Blurred vision in right eye and becomes watery only in the early morning ,seems like a light white spot in retina ....

My upper part of right eye has stye, and is swollen now. Its been 2 days now, and is very uncomfortable with little pain. What antibiotic should I take?

42, got operated for cataract in both the eyes in Dec'16. My right eye has the following problems, and i noticed recently. 1. Facing some vision disturbances/faded spots when i see the text/print. 2. Surgeon conducted OCT and found some swelling in retina 3. Identified/diagnosis as Cystoid Macular Edema (not diabetic) 4. Thickness is around 400microns 5. Given drops for 10 days 6. Indocap pills - daily 1 for 10 days 7. Little visible improvement is seen. 8. Asked me to get Avastin injection. 9. Is it mandatory to get injection now or can i wait for few weeks with some eyedrops and pills? 10. If yes, could you please suggest me the drops and dosage? 11. If not which is the best injection? How many times it should be taken? 12
