Doctor give number in right eye -3.5 & in left eye -3.00 his age is now 7 year only till now we don't believe how it happened just yesterday he is complaining that she canno't capable to see on board in school can you guide me further

What is the main cause of corneal ectasia? Do every steep cornea but having good thickness developes ectasia? I have 582 and 576 pre operative corneal thickness and mean K value of 48.00 and 46.20 in OD and OS respectively. My keratometry readings are stable after 4 months follow up and accoring to pentacam color diagrams. Doctor said my cornea is steep but has stable readings and have very good corneal thickness. My right eye has -6 -2.75*170° and left eye has -4 -2.5*170° power with BCVA 6/9. Now I will undergo femto second lasik with having 390 and 350 corneal thickness remaining after the surgery  in right and left eye respectively. Now I want to ask that is there any chance that I will develop corneal ectasia post femto lasik?

I have dry eyes and I'm using vistatears for treatment. How long will I have dry eyes before it totally gone? Can you give some useful tips? Please thank you.

I'm using vistatears (hypromellose) for my dry eyes and I don't know if I need to shake it before using. I did not shake it before because It's not in the direction. And now, I bought a new one. What should I do? Shake it or not? Please answer me correctly. Thank you,
