Im having red eye after herpes zoster got treated and a little vision loss. Can it lead to blindness in both eyes?please help

My left eye is little squinting.Is squint surgery applicable in defence.Doctor don't consult me for surgery because my squint is little.So what I do.

Headache at left side of left eye while reading books or mobile pdf file.some time for 10-20 mins and sometimes 1 to 2 days.doctor recommended softdrop and zero power spectacle.problem is still there after using drop for 2month but i didn't try spects.
