My Doctor advised me that I need to get my retina examination done.I wear contact lenses before how much time I should remove my lenses so that there is no issue in retina examination.I heard that lenses somewhat adjust the cornea so they need to be removed before some time for a eye examination. Also since I am a student I wear lenses during  college hours can I wear lenses during college hours and remove them before certain time and get my eye examination done in evening.

Should I refrain from wearing contact lenses before having a sight test and if so, before what time I should remove them?

I had a specs of -4.5. I want to decrease my number. I wash my eye 3 times daily. But it useless. my no. Is not decreasing but also increasing.
