I am soon going to undergo a lasik surgery and I am highly apprehensive. What are the things that can go wrong in lasik? Are there any lasik side effects? Also, what precautions can be taken before and after the surgery? An eye specialist’s response to these questions would be perfect. I would appreciate all your help so please answer soon!

My niece is going to have a lasik surgery to correct her extremely poor vision. She is 14-years old and we all are a little worried for the success of this surgery. Sir, I am 62 yrs. old male. In my right eye Blood spot comes after 3 to 4 months while sleeping at night which clears within weak but this time, too much Dark red blood has come to my same eye. My blood pressure now is 90/150. wherever I was not suffering from BP earlier. Pl. suggest me accordingly.

I was operated on in my "left eye" last year 2017 in the month of september for "exophoria" or intermittent squint. Though it is present in both the eyes. But it used to manifest more in the left eye. It has been over half a year now but the result is not very good. I find myself uncomfortable with my glasses, because it takes more effort for my eyes to focus/converge. The vision in left eye is also less comp. to the right eye. I feel better without glasses. Should I go for LASIK?

My mother has had keratoconus since she was 30 years old. She never faced any problems due to her keratoconus but lately her eye has been severely paining. She is 42 years old now and the doctors informed us that her keratoconus has gone worse. She always took good care of her eyes so can someone tell me what causes keratoconus to get worse?
