I want to know more about Lasik treatment and it's side effects. When would I need to use my spectacles again if I undergo this treatment today.

My right eye has swelling at the bottom. There isnt any redness or itching yet. But it is quite painful. Kindly suggest what the issue is and treatment for the same

I just tried wearing contact lenses out of curiosity. I ordered two boxes of daily disposable lenses of power -4.0 and -4.5 while power of my eye glasses are -4.25 and -4.75 with a spherical of -0.5 in right eye. After using contacts for two time I see things magnified, everything seems larger than usual. Is it normal and will be fixed automatically after sometime or should I get it checked. I have attached my eye glasses prescription please advice.

My friend has small swelling in his right lower eye lid. He have got this compliant frequently. Usually that would disappears after 1 week. But unfortunately this time it didn't disappear even after more than a month. He denied to go eye doctor and Afraid that may lead to any big problems or may end with EYE surgery. Can anyone help us with your answers?

I use lenses since 5 years.Few months back my eye got red so i avoided lenses and it was back to normal. Now again my left eye is red since 4 days and is not becoming normal even on avoiding lenses. There is also a slight pain. What can it be and due to what reason? Is it a serious issue?

While working on the ship a pump banged on the eye socket. Vision is okay and eyes are not dry but in the corner of the eye in the white region blood has clotted like a bruise. What's the solution to fix this given he is on the ship and no Opthalmologist is available.

Dear doctors, thank you so much for the help. I have myopia of -2 and developed extremely dry eyes at the age 26 because of computer vision syndrome. Within one month of suffering from dry eyes I also developed floaters, dark or shadowy thread or wisp like in both eyes. 2-3 in left eye 5-6 in right eye. I don't see them all the time, just in sunlight or extremely bright background or sometimes on laptops. My dilated exam and fundoscopy results appear normal touchwood, but they have asked me to be cautious of flashing or lightning streaks. It is still so difficult for me to understand. These lightning streaks, how long do they last when they happen? Do they happen to both eyes at once? I get checked up every 2 months, what else can I do to fix this. My life is ruined in the terror that I live in. HELP ME DOCTORS.

I underwent SMILE surgery 2 months ago. L -3 plus .75 cylindrical R - 8.5 + 1.5 cylindrical. Post one month my left eye was crystal clear and right was - 1 . Now post second month I feel that my right eye has become even worse I guess somewhere close to - 3 ( just a guess ) . Not able to understand why this is happening why is my right eye getting worse.

Feeling irritated inside eyes. Itching inside eyes and getting red..suffering from last 5days.after itching also not feeling relaxed.
