20 days back got result of TSH>100. T3, T4 normal. Pulse rate was 66. Hg-16.5 Doc advised to take eltroxin 50mg. Starting with half tab for 1st week then shift to full tab. Last 4-5 days high palpitation, pulse rate 100-110. Continuous headache, chest pain stiffness in neck. Ecg done - Normal reading

Hi. I have been taking thyronorm 50mcg for free T3,T4,TSH levels 3.46,1.29 and 1.79 respectively. Now with current report levels for T3, T4 and T-shirt levels are 2.92, 1.30 and 0.248 respectively. Plz advice dosage of thyronorm that I now need to take. I do have muscle tightness,fatigue and muscle spasms.also I have not been able to gain weight beyond 44kgs. All other blood reports are normal. I m 42yrs old female.

I am under medication with tab Carbimazole 20 mg for my hyperthyroidism for a month. For the past few days I noticed a tremendous hairfall when ever I comb my hair. Im so worried. I may go bald. Please tell me what should I do. Will it stop?

My sister is already a patient of thyroid, and now she is diagnosed with high testosterone levels of 45ng/dl for which doctor has recommended to take DYTOR tablet once in 5 days. However, nowhere online I found that dytor tab is used for decreasing testosterone levels. I am concerned whether she should start taking this tablet or not. Please advise. Prescription is attached.
