Hello Doctor I have gone through website regarding the health conditions, then I simply explored the symptoms of thyroid, and it matches everything for me, like unbalanced weight, skin dryness, mood swing, no sleep etc So wanted to know what is basic test to check thyroid, I'm feeling little scared after regarding that symptoms and it got matched each and every symptoms

My mom was feeling weak and back bone was paining so went to doctor and did a general check up and tests. Doctor said thyroid problem and TSH level is 9.18. My mom was becoming fat since few years. Please tell me. Is it curable? What food to have and what not to have ? Is thyroid dangerous?
