I have diebeties fasting 209 and after breakfast is 300 ans hsbc1 is 7.7 feeling tired and food routine not proper

Hi sir/madam,two months back my fasting blood sugar level is 180 and post lunch is 230 .and hba1c is 9.9 .so doctors are confirmed that am diabetic.now my present fasting sugar level is 105 .post lunch is 140 .now hba1c is 6.4.please tell me still have to use tablets.am pre diabetic or diabetic?some times I have checked with out medicine then my levels are fasting is 110 and post lunch is 130 .how long I have to use medicine?daily am doing 40 min walking.some times I drunk coffee and tea with sugar...but sugar levels are not going high...
