My father has type 2 diabeties and by mistake this morning he used his needle in glucometre for testing my mother who is a non diabetic person but she has thyroid and BP Are there any chances of her getting diabetes due to this? Hiv and hepatitis is not there.

My grandfather is diabetes patient within last two days sugar level decreses regularly. Hospitals not treated well they observe sugar level and say go. But the problem faces regularly. I am having Health check up and its shows Vit D3 level 18 and TSH 7.54. 6 months before tsh was 5.39 and Vit D3 around 25. Also Last year Vit D3 10 and TSH 7.52. My Doc suggested to start on TSH which is lifetime. I want to ask you if I wait for Vit D3 to go up and see TSH level. Is it fine to just start Vit D3 and Not Thyroid tablets.
