What happen if somebody did not wash the category 2 (minor )bite of dog but taken all vaccine on time . After 11 months .. any danger ??

Hello sir / mam I have a pet dog he got vaccinated two weeks ago and I was also taking anti rabies vaccine dated 13july - 16 July - 20 July these three I have received the 4th last dose is on 10-8-25 Tetanus i took on 13 July as well On 31st my dog bit me on my lower lip it bled I washed with soap What is the incubation period for dogs and humans to check if dog had rabies as it's a pet dog And I got bite during ongoing vaccination.. Am I at any kind of high risk as I got bite again on my lower lip before my last vaccine which is on 10-8-25

Hello sir/mam My dog just got vaccinated 1 week ago and I also was taking anti rabies vaccination only one is left of 10/8/2025 I was playing with my dog and his face was covered and her paws were also covered under the blanket I was just nodding his nose with my nose when he suddenly attacked me while his face was totally Covered in blanket But when i saw my face my lower lip was bleeding Its like he gave me a headbutt and I washed my lip wound under running water with soap and applied turmeric My question is he is vaccinated and my last vaccine is pending so is there any risk? He bit me quite lot of time in 2-3 years and I always took rabies vaccination.. My dog for god sake never had any rabies symptoms But my lip is swollen and the headbutt left a scar and it bleeded a little is there any risk? Dear Sir and Mam my pet dog bit my thumb on 13 July then I took the injection on arms both side and immunoglobulin at thumb and rest on butt.. and I took tetanus as well My vaccine schedule was 13 July (vaccine recd) 16 July (vaccine recd) - 20 July (vaccine recd) the 4th vaccine is on 10/8/25 but my pet dog yesterday again bit me on my lips it bled i washed with soap On 31st July he bit me on my lips and my last vaccination is on 10 August do I need to take vaccine from start? Is there anything to worry as the bite is in lower lip Any high risk? As last vaccination is on 10/8/25 Kindly advise thank you

I go for daily walks. One day, I started from my home as usual and reached halfway when a stray dog passed very close to me. I didn’t feel anything unusual at that time, but suddenly a thought came to my mind: "What if the dog bit or scratched me without me noticing? Can I get rabies from this?" Due to this anxiety, I turned back and walked home. On the way back, I again passed by some stray dogs. When I reached home, I carefully checked my body — there were no wounds, scratches, or bite marks. But even while checking, I started doubting myself — "Am I checking properly? Did I miss something?" I’m very confused and anxious. This thought has been troubling me for the past 2 weeks. I feel mentally disturbed, constantly thinking whether a dog really bit me or not. Please advise if any treatment is required or if this is just anxiety. Thank you.

However, I start overthinking afterward—feeling like I might have been bitten or scratched without noticing, even when there's no bleeding or wound. This leads to anxiety and fear about rabies. I would like to know: Is it possible to get bitten or scratched without feeling it? Is there any rabies risk if there’s no visible injury? How can I manage this anxiety? Is therapy or medication recommended? Please guide me. Thank you.

Hi! Just needed a quick opinion. On June 24th, I was playing with a pet dog (very healthy and calm), and I accidentally got a small cut on my finger from a metal stand. The dog licked that wound, but he didn’t bite or scratch me. I saw the dog again on July 2nd — he was completely fine and active on the 8th day. Should I be concerned about anything like rabies, or am I safe? Just asking for peace of mind.

I was exposed to a street dog scratch 10-12 days before.. but i didn't took any anti rabies , as there was no blood shredding. I took anti rabies 3 shots in oct 2023 as that time also i was exposed to a pet dog bite. Can i take after 10 days of bite or that previous dose will help. I m fearful .

Hi, I was by mistakenly stepped over by street dog, but blood didn't oozed out.. I had once taken Rabbies vaccination in oct 2023.. And this incident had been almost 10. Do i need to take the rabies vaccine again. Its fearful.

Respected Dr., My bro was playing with my puppy who is 4 months old i adopted her from streets and she had other vaccinations completed but her rabies vaccine is not completed as the vet told me to bring her mext week for that. Today my bro was playing with her and i think her teeth has scratched my brother hand and i want to know if its serious or not and how many vaccine shots should he require.
