Child Health Issues

My daughter will be 7 years old this July. She does not eat her meals properly. She does not chew her food properly. She can eat other foods like biscuits, chips , fruits, etc but she doesn't chew and swallow rice and roti which are her meals. Only for meal times she has this problem. I try to include a balanced diet for her giving ghee parathas, chicken, eggs, fruits, vegetables, nuts, lentils and pulses and plain milk. Still I can see her skin sticking to her bones with no flesh. Her weight is just 16 17 kgs at 6.5 yrs of age. Her birth weight was 3kgs. She has been lean since then but now this weight at this age is concerning me. We are not giving her pediasure or any such powders as not confident about benefits just sugary powders. Even after giving her nutritious food I feel it does not get absorbed well into her body.

My baby is 19 months old.He is very thin. His weight is 9 kgs. He is pooping 3 or 4 times everyday. Is it normal in his age? What we can do to increase his weight and minimize his pooping frequency.

My baby is 40 days old. And white part of the baby eyes is little yellowish. We already done photo therapy for 4 hours when she born. Daily we are taking her for morning sunlight. Still little yellowish color seen in white part. Do we need to consult doctor for this. I have attached the photo of my baby.

When my baby was born, vaccination was given in his left arm, I think. Now, there's a bump-like formation in that area. Please help, is this a normal bump? Do newborns receive vaccinations on their left arm? Attaching pic below for your reference

My baby 6 mnth old,doctor give brovent syrup, childcef syrup but not cure,today again I showed to that doctor only he gave ACE cold syrup, pedi AG,... But both dose 2.5 ml morning and nyt,I thought it's over dose,plz tel me 2.5 ml dose is okie for 6.5 kg baby weight

My 8 month old son has had a fever of 102 f. Our pediatrician said it is viral fever and it will go away in 3-4 days and prescribed crocin drops and sacctik plus. It's been 3 days. the temperature reoccurs after 7 hours sometimes and sometimes after 12 hours. But there is no specific pattern I was hoping the interval should be increased for reoccurrence. He is passing urine 8-9 times in a day but only taking breast milk, refusing solid food and ors. He has become very cranky and fussy. Are we missing anything ? Feeling a bit worried as the condition has not improved in the last 3 days.

I by mistake gave 2doses havmont L syrup (Levocetirizine and Montelukast) of 6ml each in a gap of 10mins.12ml in 10 mins. Doctor adviced 6ml at night. What should I do now.

My 6 and half month old baby is having severe constipation problems since i started with stage 2 formula of aptamil gold. What can be done. Is enfamil better for him. Plz reply

Hello, our child is hyper active since birth and till now we managed to feed breast milk as he wanted by making him sleepy. Since we started giving solids after 6 months, he started eating well with a lot of our efforts to keep him engaged. Since he doesn't empty the breast, he doesn't take enough milk from mother. We had started formula milk by giving with spoon he had gained enough weight till last month, now he prefer activities over food he is now only7.3 kg. He used to have 6 kg when he was 5 months old and 2.7kg at birth time. Nowadays he holds milk in mouth and doesn't swallow, though we changed the different flavours as doctors said, still he doesn't drink. He will have solids of 1 small bowl with 1 hr of our efforts. Could anyone suggest how can we encourage our baby to have formula milk and food to gain weight by making him calm and focused??
