Child Health Issues

My 9 year old sister has morning sickness and she has been having them for over a month. She usually has it just after waking up before going to school. Sometimes she vomits and sometimes she doesn’t. When she does vomit it is just spit and fluids. When going to the toilet everything is fine (in terms of peeing and pooping). First we thought it was because she didn’t want to go to school. When we tell her to stay she doesn’t want to. We thought it was the heat but we have airconditioning.

My 4 year old daughter always complains about cramps or pain in legs and says she is tired. She gets up during her sleep in the night and complains of pain in her legs. Although she is active and her BMI is normal. My wife wants to start off with Vitamin D3, not sure what would be the dosage for her.

2.9 years old boy toddler getting frequent Cold and cough for more than 3 months. Recently shifted to bangalore weather is too cold and raining from chennai and joined school recently. He Got dry cough and throat trouble 5 days before and temperature 101.then fever reduced but  Baby is getting temperature around 99.4 to 100.4 only at night or at early morning for 5 days. He is SNORING badly for long period more than 2 weeks. Eating fine and sleeping little fine.. Eyes are looking dull when  playing breathing little fast and coughing otherwise rare cough and sometimes thick mucus from nose .giving telekast l kid syrup 2.5 ml for 7 days Please tell whether to give antibiotics for him

Hi My baby used to get feeding during the nights frequently but past one week he is not taking breast feeding during nights.he s hungry and he sucks for two seconds and sleep how many ever times I try everytime he sucks for two mins and sleep .do I need to wake him up .he s exclusive breastfeeding baby I tried waking him up once and he started crying badly.

Hello doctor, I gave birth to a new born baby girl which is 10 days old. I had C-section and she was born on 37.3 weeks. She was born early because my amniotic fluid was a bit high. When she borned i saw her eyes and they were yellow. I consulted a child specialist and she said to check her billrubin level to confirm whether she has jaundice or not. The level of total billrubin was high at 15.4mg/dL and of direct billrubin was 0.9 mg/dl.The doctor said to have a phototherapy to reduce her billrubin level. She had phototherapy day before yeaterday and her level reduced to 8.3 mg/dl She said about a TSH and T4 test about thyroid. The level of TSH is 11.59 micro IU/ml The level of T4 is 113.52 nmol/L Doctor i am very much worried... will my baby be able to live a normal life? Is there any treatment for this problem? We dont have any thyroid history in family nor i have thyroid. What is the cause of thyroid in newborns??? Please help me out!!!

Four year old child, vomiting since morning. Kindly advise medication. Can we give colicaid to the child.

My son who is 3.2 years old, is having loss of appetite since last friday. He is not active. Vomited on Friday and Sunday. On Monday and today was ok till evening, but again same symptoms in the evening. We have given Zincogut solution and Unobiotics sachet once each day, 2 doses.

Daily 4 to 5 Loose motions for 18 months baby girl since 4days.Reason due to teething. Please suggest syrup or tablet.

My 1 month baby boy fall sleep during breast feeding and we are concern that whether he is getting enough milk or not. In 15 days he only gained 200 grams( 2950 to 3150 gram). Please suggest whether we can give formula milk or cow milk 2-3 times a day along with breast feeding and which formula milk.
