Is it normal to do potty 4-5 times in a day for a 7th month old infant? Some days doing 3 times and just immediate after food.Little concern that do I need to consult a doc?

I have two kids 2+yrs and 7months old. Somehow i don't like to put hair oil to both the kids. And i do hair wash every alternate day. Is that okay? Traditionally, ppl say hair is must. Can you tell me the benefits of putting oil. And anything bad happens of no oil is used.
