Is it okay to start supplementing formula once a day along with breast feeding at the age of 4.5 months? The baby was born late preterm with 2.36 kg weight via normal delivery in healthy condition but still running on 10-15th percentile in weight. Though height is good and running on 75th percentile.

My baby was born at 36 weeks 3 days via normal delivery and his weight was 2.36 kg. Is apgar score was 9. Was this birthweight low or is fine and my child is considered healthy?

Hi good morning My son is 3 year old . His weight is only 13 kg. He is suffering from recurrent fever for 3-4 days with high temp 102-104 f . And subside by igugesic plus syrup.. And after that cough starts This usually happens in each 2 months . Why is it so. Every time go to doctor. They write n number of medicine but don't provide permanent solution. They even not interested in any blood test. They say he will recover just give medicine. So i have posted here . Why does he get frequent fever . Because of this he is not able to gain weight. Look like lack of body fat . Height is more as his age. Height 100 cm Weight is 13 kg. BMI is 13. Pls suggest test to diagnose infection or any other issue. Then discuss after reports

My 4 months baby is having cough since a day. Als his voice is coming scratchy. What should be the remedy?

Dear Dr. My 3yr old boy having fever(3days)and cold(more than 8days. I have consult with general physician and they gave paracetamol and cefiximi.. Last two day's, we have given and no improvement. So they suggest to take blood check and found that effected by typhoid. So I went to pediatrician and he suggest to give Amoxicillin & potassium calvulanate Suspension, Para 250mg,dextromethorphan hydrobromide & Chlorpheniramine cough syrub and T.HHAZI 250MG(1/3part). These medicines will work to reduce the typhoid?. So confused and I am seeing the fever if I missed(1 instance) or 1hr late(3instance) to give para syrub at anytime.. Pediatrician told that give after these medicine, we will see the further treatment.. Shall I give Cefixime or Amoxicilliin as antibiotic. Because cefixime is higher end compare to Amoxicilliin. . please suggest n help me... Is there any specific antibiotics do I need to buy for Typhoid? Please help me.
