My father has been detected with Foci of Adinocarcinoma ( Gleason score 6 ) Grade 3+3 Group Grade 1 involving less than 10percent of all the cores submitted. doctor suggested that let him be in active surveillance & no need for further treatment as he is 80 years of age and any treatment may have side effects.he is safe for another 5-10 years.is it the right approach .pl advice

So, my questions to you are as follows: what information should I ask her doctors about her cancer to get a better understanding as to where we go from here? does my mom have a strong fighting chance? should I be asking more in detail questions, like has this spread? will we be able to know if the cancer is completely gone after the chemo treatment? how long after chemo will we know whether she beat it or not, and what our next steps should be?
