Hi my mother is a survivor of breast cancer. Last year her operation was done. Her chemo and radio all are completed. Now we notice that frequently she get pain in her hand on her side from where her lymph nodes were removed. What could be the possible reason and what should we do.

Post surgery pain can occur after Breast surgery and it is more in advance stage surgery. Most of the time it decrease with time. Most important things are to continue Physiotherapy and follow precautions to avoid lymph oedema
