My father has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer.PET CT Scan revealed MALIGNANT MASS CAECUM AND ADJOINING ASCENDING COLON, ASCITES WITH OMENTAL METASTASES. He has received his first cycle of chemotherapy and has been advised Capecitabine tablet for the next 14 days before the next cycle of Chemotherapy. Is this the best treatment for him and can this be cured?

My mother suffered from INVASIVE ADENOCARCINOMA IN COLON WITH HISTORICAL GRADE G1. Please suggest the best treatment procedure.

Tumer is retroperitoneal tumer and my biopsy result is "well differentiated liposarcoma"and we send the slides and blocks for second opinion and we got the report is "low grade spindle cells tumer". Now I don't understand the treatment. Already we consulted the No of doctors for treatment.each doctor said a different opinions please suggest to me what is the best treatment to me

My Mother has beem Suffering from Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia since Past three years, she has had been prescribed medicines like Immatero 400, Sprycel, and now it has been replaced by Tesinga. Please note that her Platelet count has also been increasing. The doctor has told us for Bone Marrow Transplant if the new medicine is resisted by her Cancerous cells. However, the entire procedure would cost in lakhs. We are a middle class family. Kindly guide us. Also. It would be nice if a simple diet plan is suggested to keep her healthy keeping her condition in mind.

Hello, I did a routine CBC and found the following in my results. Everything seems to be in the range except - Low PCV of 35.6 % ( 36-46 %) And an elevated monocytes count of 10.8 % (2-10%) My TLC is normal, showing 8,100. ( 4,000-10,000). Everything else is within the range. Should I be worried about my elevated monocytes? Is it cancer?

Patient is diagnostic with blood cancer ,his platelet count went up to 27 Lacs & admmitted to hospital given medicine & platelet count came down to 8 lacs & patient discharge.In home medicine was continue​ but platelet count started to came down,medicine stoped. ,Now the platelet count came down to 30000 & WBC 1600, we admitted patient for platelet transfusion but it is not effective much.

Dear doctor i have allergic asthma and nasal polyp.Since last one year i am feeling fatigue and about last 15 days,some foul smell in throat and nose.My recent blood work report is showing mild elevation in gamma globulin value -1.71,no M spike seen and absolute lymphocyte count-3.5,RDW-16.5,platelate-120 with remark platelete clump and giant platelete seen other blood parameters are within range.I am little worried fir elevated gamma globulin.Is it due to something more serious problem?I have burning pain behind my sternum since last 2 yrs and during endoscopy in sept-17,single sessile 7mm polyp found on Ge junction ,which was found benign in biopsy.I am taking nexium 40 mg daily one time since last 15 months.

Hi Doctor ,I had total thyroidectomy due to Thyroid cancer, 4 Parathyroids were preserved, my surgery happened on 28th February it's almost 47 days , I am still using calcium supplement two times a day along with vitaminD3 (2000mg ). I had RAI as well on 31st March , currently taking 200mcg Eltroxin. When Parathyroids are preserved when will the parathyroids start functioning again it's almost 50 days  after surgery ? My doctor told to reduce calcium supplement to one tablet a day but my Calcium decreased after taking 1 tablet per day what could be the reason? Is there any other reason causing low calcium what diagnosis should I attend ?
